چکیده

In this work, a finite-horizon zero-sum linear-quadratic differential game, modeling pursuit-evasion problem, was considered. the game’s cost function, of control minimizing player (the minimizer/the pursuer) much smaller than maximizing maximizer/the evader) and state variable. This smallness expressed by positive small multiplier (a parameter) square L2-norm minimizer’s in function. Applied Mathematics and Optimization Linear-Quadratic Stochastic Pursuit-Evasion Games

A linear-quadratic differential game in which the system state is affected by disturbance and both players have access to different measurements is solved. The problem is first converted ,to an optimization problem in infinite-dimensional state space and then solved using standard techniques. For convenience, "L2-white noise" instead of "Wiener process" setup is used.

A Cooperative Pursuit-Evasion Game for Non-Holonomic Systems

This paper considers a pursuit-evasion game for non-holonomic systems where a number of pursuers attempt to capture a single evader in a bounded connected domain. The problem is challenging because all vehicles have the same manoeuvring capability and are subject to turn radius constraints making them non-holonomic systems. The paper initially presents simple and alternate proofs for results ex...

Game Theory Models for Pursuit Evasion Games

In a pursuit evasion game, the pursuer tries to capture the evader while the evader tries to prevent this capture. A classical approach is to model this game as an infinite differential game. In this report, we model a pursuit-evasion game as a finite extensive form game, and show that the differential game is a generalization of this game. We prove that a pure-strategy Nash equilibrium always ...

Emergence of Cooperation in a Pursuit-Evasion Game

This research concerns the comparison of three different artificial evolution approaches to the design of cooperative behavior in a group of simulated mobile robots. The first and second approaches, termed: single pool and plasticity, are characterized by robots that share a single genotype, though the plasticity approach includes a learning mechanism. The third approach, termed: multiple pools...

Co-evolution of cooperation in a pursuit evasion game

This research concems the comparison of different artificial evolution approaches to the design of cooperative behavior in a team of simulated mobile robots co-evolved against a second team. The first and second approaches, termed single pool and plasticiry, are characterized by robots that share a single genotype, though the plasticity approach includes a leaning mechanism. The third approach,...
